First Visit Expectations

Your first visit isn’t just about us getting to know you, but also you getting to know us! We encourage our new patients to ask any questions they may have at their visit. 

Our team will start your appointment by asking you some questions about your medical and dental history. Certain medical conditions or medications can affect your treatment plan, so we will also ask you to list any medications, vitamins, and supplements you are taking and their dosages.

Your doctor will then perform a comprehensive oral exam. This may include x-rays, a non-invasive oral cancer screening, and a periodontal exam to check for signs of gum disease. 

Once your exam is finished, your doctor will discuss their findings with you. Together, you will create a treatment plan that best fits your desires, while also giving you a healthy smile.
